How do offers and counter-offers work?
BuyingLast reviewed Oct 8, 2026
You can offer a lower price on a fixed-price listing. The seller can accept, decline or counter, and the two of you take turns.
- An offer or counter-offer expires after 72 hours if nobody answers. An offer the seller starts in the chat can have a shorter time, and it shows the time left.
- Your wallet must hold at least the offer amount when you send it. The money is not locked until the deal starts.
- You can have one pending offer per listing. When the seller accepts one offer, the others on that listing are declined.
- Auctions do not take offers: you bid instead.
