Why must I never send account logins outside the deal?
SellingLast reviewed Oct 8, 2026
Logins sent inside the deal are encrypted and shown only to the buyer of that deal. Anything sent in a direct message, email or another app is outside that protection.
If you hand over an account outside the deal and the buyer disappears, or says they never got it, there is nothing in the system to show what happened, and staff cannot help you recover it.
The chat removes phone numbers and blocks links, but it cannot tell when someone pastes a password. That one is up to you.
