How much is the escrow fee, and who pays it?
Fees & PlansLast reviewed Oct 8, 2026
The buyer pays the escrow fee on top of the price. The seller receives the full sale price.
The fee rate comes from the seller's plan, and it has a minimum amount. A seller's level or a promotion can lower the fee. You always see the exact fee, and your total, before you pay:
- FREE (free): up to 20 active listings, buyer escrow fee 5% (minimum $4).
- STARTER ($6 a month): up to 50 active listings, buyer escrow fee 4% (minimum $3).
- PRO ($15 a month): up to 200 active listings, buyer escrow fee 3% (minimum $2).
- ENTERPRISE ($30 a month): up to 999 active listings, buyer escrow fee 2% (minimum $1).
If the fee changes while you are checking out (for example a fee rule changed), the payment stops and you are shown the new total instead of being charged more than you saw.
If the buyer cancels before delivery, the whole total comes back, fee included. If a deal is completed, the fee is kept by the platform. For stock, the fee is charged per item, because each item is its own deal.
