What is the transfer countdown?
Escrow & DealsLast reviewed Oct 8, 2026
On platforms where the account is transferred by adding the escrow email as a manager (YouTube, X, Telegram and Facebook), a waiting period, the transfer countdown, runs before the seller can confirm the handover.
- The default length is 7 days, and it is counted in full calendar days. The deal page shows the exact length for your platform.
- It is started by the seller or our team once the buyer has verified access.
- When it ends, the seller confirms the handover and the payment is released.
Because the platform controls this step, the buyer can't complete a manager-add deal early. If something goes wrong during the countdown, the buyer can still open a dispute.
