Can I cancel a deal and get a refund?
Escrow & DealsLast reviewed Oct 8, 2026
A buyer can cancel on their own only before the account is delivered: while the deal is Funded or Awaiting manager add. The cancellation is instant, and you get your whole payment back, including the fee.
After delivery you can't cancel. Instead, check the account during the inspection period and, if something is wrong, open a dispute. If the dispute ends in your favour, you are refunded the price and the fee (minus any part already released to the seller).
Two cases can't be cancelled by the buyer:
- Stock items, because they are delivered the moment you pay.
- A deal that our team has put on hold.
If a seller is not delivering, cancel while the deal is still waiting for delivery.
