My account was restricted or banned. What can I do?
Trust & DisputesLast reviewed Oct 8, 2026
Actions on an account go from mild to serious:
- Warning: a notice only. It can't be appealed.
- Restriction: some things are switched off: buying, selling, listing, price offers, messaging, or withdrawals.
- Temporary ban: sign-in is blocked for a set time, up to 365 days.
- Ban: blocked until it is lifted. Your wallet is frozen while it lasts.
We email you the reason and a link to appeal. The link works for 14 days, and the banned page shows the type, category and reason once you identify yourself.
To appeal, write what happened and why you think it is wrong (30 to 2000 characters), and add up to 5 files (JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP or PDF, 10 MB each). You can appeal up to 3 times for the same action, 5 a day, and need to wait 24 hours after a denial. An appeal is Pending, Needs info, Approved, Denied or Closed. We don't promise a reply time.
